Note: In late 1998, Al Snow sold Bodyslammers Gym and the GWA to a businessman in Cleveland, OH. Wayne Cryderman (aka Crusher Kline) who was Snow's head trainer and promoted the GWA events did not continue working for the new owner. Instead he started the WWWA (based in Lima, OH) in December 1998. The GWA champs at the time were all stripped of their titles, but were recognized as the first WWWA champs (except for the TV champion as no such title was recognized). |
